Carmel Sauce

1 lb butter
2 lbs brown sugar
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
2 cups corn syrup
2 tablespoons vanilla

Melt butter in a saucepan.  Add the brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk and corn syrup.   Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.  Take off heat and add 2 tablespoons vanilla.  Refrigerate.
